I. Basic design steps applicable to buildings and workshop design:

Step no. 1: Basic design,

Step no. 2: Construction drawing design.

Furthermore, design steps might be concluded by person who shall make decision for investment when approval of project.

II. Content of basic design: It shall include description part and drawings.

1. Basic design description shall cover the followings:

a) Brief introduction of location, design concept, general layout of construction works, alignment solution applicable for construction works in case of execution as per alignment; location, scope of construction of items, interfacings between these items included in project and between technical infrastructures of the region;

b) Process concept, process line for works which contain process requirements;

c) Architectural concept for construction works which contain architectural requirements;

d) Main structural solution, technical system, major technical facilities of construction works;

đ) Environmental protection solution, fire fighting and prevention specified by law;

e) List of major applicable codes and standards.

2. Basic design drawing shall comprise of the followings:

a) General layout drawing or site plan alignment drawing for construction works in case of execution in accordance with lines and alignment;

b) Flow sheets, process line drawings for construction works covering process requirements;

c) Architectural drawing for construction works which contain architectural requirements; 

d) Drawing for main structural concept, technical system, main technical infrastructure of construction works, interfacings with technical infrastructure in the region.

III. Content of Construction drawing design: It shall consist of design description, design drawings, relevant civil surveying and investigation document, costs estimation of construction works.

Construction drawing design shall be design which shall ensure of sufficient technical data, applicable materials and construction detail in conformity with applicable codes and standards, it shall ensure all conditions for commencement of execution of works.

The core value while design of buildings and workshop which ICCI looking for shall be:

Practically there shall be several causes which result in higher costs of construction including improper selection of structure concept by designer, or design of oversize structures - more than enough. Improper structure concept shall normally be occurred in ground & foundation and ground slab structure solution. Some areas have sound geological conditions, however foundations concept of driven piles or bored piles still be applied by designer which shall be used for poor geological conditions areas. By experiences foundations over weak soil conditions shall cost twice times higher than the ones over good soil condition and that also result in 20% increase in construction costs as total. Besides, ground solution for construction work shall be worth discussing, should we select ground over natural uncontacted soil (elasticity system) or over piling work (hard structures), asphalt floor or concrete floors, thorough evaluation shall be made as there shall be a large ground area in buildings and workshops. As a designer we wish to offer product with the best maximized for investors, hence, ICCI always put costs in parallel to technical criteria while design buildings and workshops. Design company shall be groups of engineers as well as architects, therefore, technical and aesthetical wises must be obtained in their mind and system, but costs factor shall not available all the time in them. This shall require for regular care from company, from customers' interests, from requirement for comprehensive design products.
